Taking comedy audiences by storm since 2004, Ben Roy brings an unparalleled energy and unique voice to stage. Often compared to Lewis Black or Bill Hicks due to his passionate, ranting approach, Roy has a style that is definitively his own. Ben just signed a new album deal with 800 Pound Gorilla Records and they are recording his new album live at Comedy Works.
Roy cut his comedic teeth in Denver at Comedy Works. Since then, he has been selected to perform at the Montreal Just for Laughs Comedy Festival, LA Riot Comedy Festival, Boston Comedy Festival, Austin’s South by Southwest festival, and many more. Roy has been featured on HBO's Funny as Hell series; in the John Wenzel book Mock Stars: Indie Comedy and Dangerously Funny (alongside comedy greats like Patton Oswalt and Fred Armisen); as well as on the Comedy Central shows Adam DeVine's House Party and This Is Not Happening. Ben has also released three stand-up comedy albums.
Along with fellow Denver Comedians Adam Cayton-Holland and Andrew Orvedahl (who collectively perform as The Grawlix), Ben created, writes and stars in TruTV’s original comedy series Those Who Can’t, which ran for three seasons. In addition to stand-up comedy, Roy is a prolific musician, currently the lead singer of SPELLS.

Luke Gaston is a Colorado comic using the hell out of his art degree. Being a big fan of the marijuana and working odd jobs from everything from radio DJ to fake doctor, he has an inherently silly perspective. Luke also hosts and produces a comedy showcase at Scrumpy’s Hard Cider Bar every last Friday in Fort Collins. Luke lives in Fort Collins with his girlfriend, dog, and 2006 Subaru (Non Turbo) Impreza.

Andrew Orvedahl is a comedian and person currently based in Los Angeles. If you were a comedy sommelier, you might say his comedy is somewhat cerebral, with a dry finish and floral notes of sarcasm. He prefers mixing real-life stories with creative (and often improvised) observations within those stories. He is a regular at his home club, the renowned Comedy Works in Denver, and has performed at the Montreal Just for Laughs, Bridgetown, Aspen, Las Vegas, Seattle, and Great American comedy festivals.
Andrew is one-third of Denver’s comedy supergroup The Grawlix, who sold their sitcom pilot Those Who Can’t to Amazon Studios and then again to truTV, where it aired for 3 seasons.
In 2014, Andrew made his late night debut on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon and then appeared on Last Call with Carson Daly. Andrew has a stand-up album Hit the Dick Lights—the album was named one of the top 10 comedy specials of 2013 by Time Out New York. In 2012, Andrew was awarded Denver’s prestigious ‘Mastermind’ award for his support of comedy culture in the city.
In 2010, Andrew created the hit storytelling show and podcast The Narrators, a show that continues today in Denver and San Diego.

Alabama native and stand-up comedian Derrick Stroup is not your average slow-talking Southerner. With the cadence of a pissed-off auctioneer, he locks people in with his detailed stories and over the top energy. Derrick tours the South regularly and loves a Waffle House that's clean and cares about its customers.
Meghan E. DePonceau
Meghan E. DePonceau is both a professional giggle maker & hooch slinger, with blood made of Frank’s Red Hot Sauce. July 19th : Samantha Ruddy - Aaron Maslow - Roger Haak
Samantha Ruddy tells jokes, writes funny stuff, and weasels her way into your heart with her girl-next-door charm. Samantha has performed standup on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, headlined Carolines on Broadway, and appeared in videos for Comedy Central--all before her 27th birthday! She has also performed at national comedy festivals like New York Comedy Festival, San Francisco Sketchfest, and High Plains Comedy Festival.
Brooklyn Magazine called her one of Brooklyn's 50 Funniest People, BUST says she's a comic "you should be obsessed with," and Vulture recently featured her for "Follow Friday." Samantha is a skilled joke writer and her comedy is clever, disarming, and sly. Read her writing on Collegehumor, Someecards, and Reductress, check out her weekly Wednesday show at Lucky Jack's in Manhattan at 9pm, and follow her on Twitter @Samlymatters. You'll be glad you did. And she will too!
Aaron Maslow is a stand up comedian from Denver, CO. This father of three, delights audiences by stripping away the romanticism of parenthood. His jokes about family life are as lighthearted and goofy as they are subversive and quick-witted. Aaron is happy to be entertaining audiences all over but, really, he's just glad to be out of the house. Aaron was a finalist in Denver Comedy Work's 2018 New Faces Contest, has performed in numerous festivals including the Cape Fear Comedy Fest in North Carolina and the Boulder Fringe Fest in Boulder, Colorado. He hosts Your Dad's Comedy Show and Schooling Noah w/Aaron Maslow and a Special Guest, a podcast on Sexpot Comedy Radio.
Roger Haak is a successful vocalist who has toured with choirs across Europe, talented event coordinator, and avid cyclist who has ridden solo across the country, but instead of developing those traits into a stable livelihood, Roger has focused his energies on being an okay stand-up comedian. In spite of overwhelming mediocrity, Roger has been accepted to Gilda’s Laughfest, Dallas Comedy Festival, and Cleveland Comedy Festival. He also hosts a popular open mic every Sunday at Denver Bicycle Café, emcees for Colorado Chautauqua and Boulder Fringe Festival, and one time Roger opened for Doug Stanhope. And I mean legit opened. Not a “Doug Stanhope happened to show up at the show I was already booked on, so I’m using this as a credit now.” I mean Roger was purposefully placed on the same bill as Doug Stanhope one time. Roger’s most notable praise from audiences is, “Yeah, that was pretty good. I should probably go to the bathroom now.” This is the end of Roger’s bio.
